Privacy Policy — Consistent - Habit Tracking

Consistent - Habit Tracking is a habit tracking and daily routine assistant developed by Kegistech Private Limited. This policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your data when you use the Consistent mobile application across iOS and Android devices. By downloading, accessing, or using Consistent, you explicitly agree to these terms.

1. Definitions

"We", "Us", "Our" refers to Kegistech Private Limited, the author of the Consistent - Habit Tracking App.

"You", "Your" refers to the individual who downloads or uses the App.

"Habit Data" refers to any information you create within the App, including but not limited to habit names, schedules, completion logs, streak counts, notes, reminder preferences, and account information.

2. Data Collection & Usage

Consistent collects only the minimum data necessary to provide our services:

• Account Information: We collect your name, email address, and encrypted credentials to create and manage your account across devices.
• Habit Data: All habits, routines, completion timestamps, streak records, notes, and reminder preferences you enter are stored on our secure servers.
• Usage Analytics (Optional): With your consent, we may collect anonymized usage data (e.g., feature usage, crash reports) to improve app stability and user experience. This data contains no personally identifiable information and no content of your habits.
• Device Information: We collect basic device information (operating system version, device model, app version) solely for troubleshooting and compatibility purposes.

3. Server Storage & Security

• Server-Based Storage: All your Habit Data is stored on Kegistech's secure server infrastructure. Your data is accessible across all your supported devices by logging into your Consistent account.
• Encryption: All user data, including account credentials and Habit Data, is encrypted both in transit (using TLS/SSL) and at rest on our servers using industry-standard encryption algorithms (AES-256).
• No Data Sharing: Kegistech does not sell, rent, share, or disclose your personal data or Habit Data to any third parties for advertising, marketing, or any other unauthorized purposes. Your data remains strictly confidential and is used solely to operate the Consistent app.
• Biometric Security: You may optionally enable device biometric authentication (such as Face ID, Touch ID, or Android Biometrics) to prevent unauthorized local access to your app.
• Password Security: All passwords are hashed using bcrypt before storage. We do not store plain-text passwords.

4. Third-Party Services

Consistent integrates with third-party services solely for infrastructure and payment processing. We do not share your Habit Data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes:

In-App Subscription Providers (Apple App Store / Google Play Store / RevenueCat)

• Data Transmitted: Anonymous purchase receipts and subscription entitlement status only. No habit content, personal habits, or sensitive account details.
• Purpose: To manage in-app subscriptions, process billing via Apple In-App Purchases or Google Play Billing, and validate entitlements securely.
• Privacy: Billing is handled directly by Apple and Google. Kegistech does not collect or store your payment card details.

Firebase / Google Analytics (Optional)

• Data Transmitted: Anonymized crash logs and aggregate performance metrics only. No habit content or personal data.
• Purpose: App stability monitoring and performance optimization.
• Privacy: Data is aggregated and anonymized. You may opt out of analytics collection in App Settings at any time.

5. Data Retention & Account Deletion

• Account Deletion by User: You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app settings or by sending a request to info@kegistech.com. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.
• Inactive Account Policy: Accounts that remain continuously inactive (no logins or synchronization) for longer than twenty-four (24) months may be permanently deleted from our servers to maintain database efficiency.
• Analytics Data: Anonymized analytics and crash logs are retained for up to 90 days for debugging purposes, then automatically purged.
• Your Right to Deletion: You may request complete deletion of your account and all server-side records by emailing us at info@kegistech.com. Verifiable deletion requests are processed within 30 days.

6. Freemium Model & Subscriptions

Consistent operates on a freemium model:

• Free Tier: You may create and track up to three (3) habits at no cost, with basic reminders and limited widget support.
• Consistent Pro: To unlock unlimited habits, advanced statistics, custom themes, unlimited widgets, and priority support, a Pro subscription is required via Apple App Store or Google Play Billing (monthly or yearly options).
• Billing: Payments are processed securely via Apple or Google. Kegistech does not store payment financial credentials on our servers.

7. Children's Privacy

Consistent is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at info@kegistech.com and we will delete the information promptly.

8. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your data:

• Access: Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
• Deletion: Request complete deletion of your account and associated data.
• Portability: Export your habit data from within the app at any time.
• Opt-Out: Disable analytics collection or delete your account at any time in App Settings.

9. Limitation of Liability

Kegistech Private Limited shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use Consistent, including but not limited to missed habits, broken streaks, or personal goal failures. Consistent is provided as a productivity tool, and results depend on individual user behavior and commitment.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Users globally are responsible for ensuring compliance with their local regulations. Any disputes arising from this Privacy Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
